Beyonce surprised us by releasing her self-titled album at midnight on iTunes. Suffice to say we’re spending all day today listening to the Queen. AND in addition to releasing 14 brand new tracks, the album contains 17 music videos to watch over and over to our heart’s content. Her ‘Pretty Hurts’ video has created the most chatter because in it she takes diet pills and portrays the feeling of not being enough in the industry. Beyonce is incredibly passionate about her art, so the videos portray her love for it even further, she explains this and spoke to fans through a Facebook video saying: “It’s more than just what I hear,” she said. “When I’m connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they’re all connected to the music.”
